At the northern edge of one of the most beautiful fertile valleys in the country, lies the historical town of Tulbagh. The village is surrounded by the north situated Winterhoek , eastern Witzenberg, which is usually snow capped in winter and western side Obiqua mountains and offers one of the most breathtaking settings that Western Cape has to offer.

With the valley's fertility, flora such as proteas and herbs are abundant, peaches, pears and just about 70 percent of South Africa's plums are farmed at the foot of the various mountain ranges. This valley also accomodates the growth and production of the country's finest wines!

Day and Night temperatures within Tulbagh can be quite extreme, which is ideal for the farming activities occuring in the area.
