Ticket to Ride (The Gautrain)

GUESTS of Protea Hotels and African Pride Hotels in Johannesburg’s northern suburbs don’t have to fork out for extra transport if they use the speedy Gautrain to get to and from OR Tambo International Airport.

The Protea Hospitality Group hotels in that area offer a free shuttle service to and from the Gautrain station in Sandton to all their GUESTS. The hotels offering the service are the Protea Hotel Wanderers, the Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Melrose Arch, the Protea Hotel Balalaika and the African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel.

Protea Hospitality Group Marketing and Advertising Manager Nicholas Barenblatt said the free shuttle service had been in place for the past 8 months. “It’s yet another value add we offer to GUESTS staying in Protea Hotels and African Pride Hotels. It’s these sorts of extras that differentiate your product from the rest and demonstrate a service attitude that goes the extra mile,” he said.

Shuttles from the Gautrain Sandton station can be arranged when you make your booking at any of the above hotels.
