PROTEA HOTELS ANNOUNCES PREFERRED CAR HIRE PARTNER - 03 June 2005

Budget Car Rental has been selected as Protea Hotels' preferred car hire partner, following a Tender that went out to all the leading car hire companies. "We are happy to announce the renewal of Budget as our Preferred Car Rental Service to Protea Hotels and African Pride Hotels," said Danny Bryer, Group Sales and Marketing Director for Protea Hotels.

Budget Car Rental will remain the preferred partner for a period of 5 years, during which time members of Protea's loyalty programme, Prokard, will benefit from the partnership. "Synergies exist between Budget and Protea and we share similar target markets," concluded Bryer.
