PROTEA HOTELS ADDS A NEW CAPE WINELANDS HOTEL TO PORTFOLIO

Protea Hospitality Group is proud to announce the addition of a stunning new hotel, Protea Hotel Vineyard Estate, to its extensive portfolio. Located between award-winning vineyards and the upmarket Vineyards Office Estate in Tyger Valley, this unique hotel is scheduled to open in June 2011.

The new hotel is just minutes from Tyger Valley and Bellville's business district, but also close to the natural beauty of the famous Magic Forest mountain bike and walking trails.

GUESTS can relax in the eye-catching swimming pool area with its adjacent bar and lounge, ideal for cocktails or drinks after a conference. There are also breakaway areas and other dining facilities for GUESTS and conference delegates. The fully-equipped conference and training facility which can be divided into two separate venues can seat 130 delegates. There are also four upmarket meeting rooms for training groups, seminars or boardroom-style meetings. The restaurant serves breakfast, light refreshments, lunch and dinner for in house GUESTS, visitors and conference delegates.

The first 31 hotel bedrooms, all the public areas, the conference rooms, restaurants, lounge and bar will open on 1 June 2011. The remaining 64 bedrooms will be ready by the end of September 2011. All the rooms will offer GUESTS cool and luxurious comfort, with contemporary and attractive décor. GUESTS will have access to all the amenities associated with a brand new Protea Hotel including complimentary WIFI and HD LCD televisions and secure parking.
