In keeping with worldwide trends, the 4 star Protea Hotel Wanderers offers a 24–hour Express Deli serving packaged–to–go light snacks and a 24–hour Coffee & Cocktail Bar. The use of lighting features and surround–sound produce a modern, vibey cafe–style atmosphere with a separate upmarket smoking lounge.

Located on the ground floor of the Hotel leading out to the pool deck, the BIG APPLE Restaurant is open 7 days a week. A full buffet breakfast is offered each morning from 06:30 to 10:30, a lunch menu is available from 12:00 to 18:00 in both the Restaurant and on the pool deck and an a la carte Dinner Menu is available in the evenings from 18:00 until 22:30.
