The Lighthouse Breakfast Restaurant and Bar is situated on the 2nd floor of the 3-Star Hotel offering delicious breakfasts. The restaurant seats 100 GUESTS and is open from 06:30 to 10:30 and the bar is open from 14:00 to 22:00.

Conference facilities

The state-of-the-art conference centre is situated on the 9th floor of the 3-Star Protea Hotel Umhlanga and overlooks the Umhlanga coastline. The conference centre can seat up to 180 delegates in cinema style, while breakaway rooms and a Boardroom are also available for smaller, informal get-togethers.

Sports and recreation

The 3-Star Hotel is conveniently situated for most sporting facilities. It is a stone's throw away from the Umhlanga Country Club with tennis and bowls facilities and the Ski Boat Club offers deep-sea fishing trips on request. Scuba diving and horse riding facilities are also close by.
