1. Travel North along the N2 Freeway from Durban for about 200km
2. Take the off-ramp off the N2 Mfolozi Off Ramp
3. Follow signage "Umfolozi River"
4. At the junction, turn left
5. Follow the road and turn right at gravel road - this will take you to the Protea Hotel Umfolozi River

Directions from Richards Bay Airport

1. From the airport, follow the Fish Eagle Flight Road
2. Turn right into Nkoninga Road
3. You will get a turnoff on your left-hand side - take this road left into East Central Arterial Road
4. Turn right into North Central Arterial Road
5. Carry on straight along this road until you see the N2 Off-Ramp
6. Turn right to get onto the N2 Freeway
7. Travel North along the N2 Freeway for about 30km
8. Take the off-ramp off the N2 Mfolozi Off Ramp

10. At the junction, turn left
