Turn right out of Airport into Allister Miller Road, follow road right at Y-Junction into La Roche Drive.

From N2 take the Setlers Way Off ramp. Follow freeway to end at Walmer Boulevard Intersection.

Attractions

The Protea Hotel Marine Port Elizabeth is located within 7 km of the City Centre, Opera House, Campanile, Fort Frederick and much of the city's Settler heritage. One of the major tourist attractions in Port Elizabeth, Bayworld, is situated along Marine Drive on the beachfront at Humewood and comprises the museum, oceanarium and snake park.
Do not miss out on the chance to visit the Red Location Museum to learn more about the struggle against apartheid or take a scenic day trip on the Apple Express.
There are a number of guided tours available, including City Tours and various game reserves - Shamwari, Pumba Game Reserve,Addo Elephant National Park, Kragga Kamma Game Reserve and the Sea View Lion Park . For the more adventurous, there are a number of Eco-tours and superb diving spots in the Friendly City. Browsing around at one of the local shopping centres, Greenacres Shopping Centre or the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment Centre is a treat. Alternatively, Beachfront Traders each Sunday is worth a visit, as is a stroll through Art in the Park, which takes place on the first Sunday of each month.
The Protea Hotel Marine is also close to one of the top 10 Golf Courses in South Africa, the Humewood Golf Course, and 6km from Cape Recife Nature Reserve for nature enthusiasts, where you can find prime fishing spots, bird watching and a hiking trail.

  Standard Rooms  – Non Sea-Facing and Sea-Facing rooms and consist of two single beds or a double bed

Executive Rooms – Rooms are slightly more spacious than the standard rooms

Club Rooms  - Rooms are equipped with a mini kitchenette and are larger than the standard rooms

Family Suites  - The family rooms are very spacious and consist of a main bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There is also a separate bedroom with bunk beds for the kids with second bathroom.  This room is also equipped with a mini kitchenette.

Loft Rooms – Are spacious and consist of a mini kitchenette and lounge area down stairs.  Upstairs is the bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

Presidential Suites - The suite consists of a large dining room and lounge area with a mini kitchenette.  It has a large bedroom with en-suite bathroom equipped with a Jacuzzi bath.

All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, telephones, hairdryers, electronic door locks, tea and coffee making facilities, electronic safes and boasts 28 satellite TV and music channels.

The dinner buffet is a sumptuous lay-out of enticing fare from the soup, starters, salads and breads, through to the extensive selection of hot main dishes, and then onto richly flavoured  desserts.
