Sumptuous cuisine is served in the restaurant area which is warm with local cultural charm and atmosphere. For a different dining experience, dishes are complemented with the extensive wine list, offering some of South Africa's excellent local wines.

For those wanting to dine a little differently, the traditional Zulu Boma (Kraal) takes the dining experience outdoors, perfect for shows and that exquisite dinner experience under the African sky. Group bookings are taken for Boma dinners

The restaurant area and pubs are fully air-conditioned and sport's enthusiasts can keep up to date with their team's sporting calender at The Rhino Bar which has a big-screen TV.

• Take the Hluhluwe Off-ramp and turn left towards Hluhluwe Village.

 From Durban (N2 North)
• Take the N2 North, past Stanger, Richards Bay, Empangeni, Mtubatuba, Charters Creek, and Bushlands.
• Stay on the N2 until you reach the Hluhluwe Village / Sodwana Bay off-ramp
• Take the Hluhluwe off-ramp and turn right towards Hluhluwe Village.

Lodge

The Lodge is a 3-bedroomed , air conditioned, thatched unit.

1. The main bedroom has a walk-in closet, bathroom with Maxi shower and "corner bath", as well as a King Size bed. It opens onto the patio which has an "infinity pool" and stunning views!
2. The 2nd Bedroom has a full bathroom with shower,as well as a bath and private outdoor shower. The Queen Size bedroom, opens onto the patio.
3. The double bedded 3rd Bedroom is situated upstairs, with bathroom with old style bath.
4. All bathrooms are stocked with top of the range amenities

The Lodge is fully air-conditioned, has a full DSTV bouquet and a big screen LCD TV
There is a guest toilet, lounge, dining room and upstairs "library". The lounge has a gas fire place and furnished with leather couches, chairs and solid wood tables, dressers and wall units. There is an 8 seater dining room table in the dining room, and a small "bar" cabinet.
The doors of the lounge fold back, to open completely onto a spacious patio, with a deck and "infinity pool" with another outdoor shower. A weber braai is available here with stunning view of the landscape, plenty of birdlife and even a colony of Dwarf mongooses on your door step.
A fully equipped kitchen with state of the art stove and oven and fridge/freezer, also forms part of this package. The kitchen is equipped with all utensils, right down to dish cloths!

The lodge is fully serviced and has all the nesseccary cutlery, crockery and linen, to be self contained. It has a telephone line and forms part of the hotel's extentions.

On request, we will stock the bar, pantry and fridge (at a cost) and we can even offer a full time chef and/or "butler" at  a cost, as well as a full time Field Guide and Game viewing vehicle.
Alternatively meals can be taken at the hotel.

Further features are 24 hour security, generator for electricity back up and naturally landscaped gardens

The whole lodge is under thatch and approx 400 square metres in size and have a separate entrance from the hotel and is completely private and self contained.
The charges are from R3500.00 per night and it can sleep 6 adults comfortably! (we can put two extra beds upstairs to accommodate more children) This is for the fully serviced lodge only.
