New Market and Bonny Market:

Bonny Market, the seaside market, is as well known for the availability of fresh barracuda, prawns, lobsters and red snapper as it is for the availability of black market foreign exchange.

Bonny Island:
Surrounded by seawater, the island is resident to many fishermen and boats the largest LNG gas plant in Nigeria. A firm favorite amongst the tourists, visiting the island by speed boat or helicopter.

Polo Park:
Located in the heart of GRA, Polo Park is restricted to members only. One can view numerous horses grazing or from time to time you may be lucky enough to see an actual polo match underway.

Port Harcourt International Airport:

This King was a Chief during the days of the "Colonial Masters". An activist against slave-trading, King Jaja was a powerful ruler who died under mysterious circumstances. The Monument at Opobo Nkolo serves to honor his memory.

Ifoko Beach, Ifoko:
A tourist centre beach, it serves as a picnic venue together with bush bar restaurants offering palm wine, entertainment and local dishes.

Liberation Stadium:
Located at Elekeohia, a stadium with approximately 250 capacity hosts local football league matches while numerous shops, restaurants and bars surround the stadium walls.

Port Harcourt Refinery and Petrochemical, Orobili:
Located at Eleme Local Government of Rivers State, the Refinery was the first and largest refinery of its kind in Nigeria. Crude oil is refined for both export and local usage.
