Location

The entire development and hotel is situated right on the beach, facing Table Bay and the city of Cape Town. Even the view behind the hotel is splendid, as the back overlooks a vlei with ample bird life.

Directions From Cape Town International Airport

1. Take the N2 towards Cape Town
2. Take the off ramp to your left which reads Milnerton, M5 NORTH, this is just past the Pinelands off ramp
3. Travel North along the M5, keeping in the right hand lane and take the Paarden Island, Milnerton off ramp. You are now travelling along Koeberg Road and will go through a number of traffic light intersections
4. Follow this road (Koeberg Rd) until you get to Boundry Road, then turn left, heading towards the ocean
5. At the next traffic light intersection, turn right opposite Leisure Bay into Otto Du Plessis Drive or the R27
6. Keep along this road, through Milnerton and past the golf course on your left
7. As you enter Tableview, turn left at traffic lights into Marine Drive and the Protea Hotel Dolphin Beach complex is on your left hand side

The new resturant at the hotel, Blowfish is operated by the Codfather Seafood Emporium, currently with 3 other successful restaurants - Camps Bay, Cape Town and Rivonia, Johannesburg. The restaurant is fully licensed and boasts an extensive wine list. Breakfast is served daily from 07h00 - 10h00, thereafter open from 12h00 - 23h00, 365 days a year! A rotating sushi bar seats 24 GUESTS and the additional 72 seats in the restaurant overlook Table Bay, the City and Table Mountain. Blowfish's unique concept invites patrons to select their meal from the widest range of fresh seafood and shellfish on display of ice. Order as much or as little as you wish, which is then freshly cooked to your specification. Another unique feature is the stir-fried dishes prepared by qualified Thai chefs.
