Location

To reach the Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge from the Cape Town International Airport:

1. Take the N2 from the Airport to town. The N2 and N1 meet up at this point.
2. Carry on straight over the traffic lights passed the Holiday Inn Hotel.
3. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Western Boulevard.
4. Take the right hand lane that leads to a small set of robots leading into Portswood Road.
5. Turn right into Portswood Road.

The chefs won't keep you waiting when putting together their “Starters-in-Seconds”. However, if you have a moment to really chill out, we have some succulent dishes to be enjoyed “All-in-Good-Time”…

The Time Out Cafe has been designed to accommodate local business people, wanting a quick wholesome meal, or tourists and shoppers, wishing to have a light lunch or leisurely cappuccino and delectable treat from our "Plenty-of-Time" desserts menu. From its Portswood Ridge vantage point, Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge conference facilities command a birds-eye view of the restored harbour and forms part of the Breakwater Campus of UCT's Graduate School of Business. The function venues are technologically advanced & equipped with modern state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. Venues can cater up to 220 delegates with wireless hotspots throughout the building and secure parking is available. Halaal menu options for up to 40 delegates are available.
