Restaurants

Stonebreakers is a buffet restaurant catering for all hotel GUESTS, delegates and students. It is located on the ground floor of Block C and serves buffet meals or snacks, sandwiches, drinks and beverages throughout the day.

The ambience is relaxed and streamlined, with an emphasis on convenience and comfort. This restaurant offers an exciting buffet cycle menu and monthly themed lunches. Enjoy magnificent views of the V&A Waterfront while dining with us out on the large patio.

Time-Out Café is a contemporary café style restaurant, which offers an a la carte menu in a relaxed atmosphere with magnificent views of both the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is available from our full service bar.

Time-Out Café has been designed to accommodate local business people, or tourists and shoppers, wishing to have a either a light lunch or hearty meal as main courses range from sandwiches and pizza to line fish and Thai Green curry!

Location

Directions to the Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge, Waterfront from the Cape Town International Airport:

1. Take the N2 from the Airport to town. The N2 and N1 meet up at this point.
2. Carry on straight over the traffic lights passed the Southern Sun Hotel.
3. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Helen Suzman Boulevard (formerly Western Boulevard).
4. Take the right hand lane that leads to a small set of traffic lights leading into Portswood Road.
5. Turn right into Portswood Road.

The Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge, Waterfront entrance is the second entrance on one’s right hand side.
