Located in the heart of the Protea Hotel Balalaika Sandton and overlooking the beautiful gardens and swimming pool, lies The Colony restaurant. The restaurant is open five days a week for breakfast from 06h30 to 10h00 and weekends from 07h00 to 10h30, where a lavish full English breakfast buffet is served. The restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner. Prokard Gold is accepted.

The Bull Run Restaurant
A wealth of good taste. The latest innovation in Sandton dining. Indulge your senses in our warm, spacious interior, embellished with fine wood and face brick, catering for the connoisseurs of choice meat and select wines. Visit our in-house butchery for fresh cuts of maturely aged meat, cut and packed for your specific requirements. A must for both local and international GUESTS alike. Enjoy fresh oysters, while sipping an exotic cocktail on the terrace. Open daily for Lunch and Dinner, Monday to Sunday. Closed on Saturday for lunch. Prokard Gold is accepted.

The Oval Coffee Shop
The Oval Coffee Shop is located in the hotel lobby and offers a variety of light meals such as "Tramezzini" and "Ciabatta" with numerous selections of different fillings. Cakes, pastries and specialty coffees are also available. Open seven days a week from 09h00 to 21h00. In the winter months, enjoy our hot home-made soup of the day, served with French loaf.

Lords Cigar Bar
A sophisticated Lounge bar, decorated in luxurious solid wood furnishings, chandeliers, and rich plush upholstery. A vast variety of specialty cocktails are available. Hot savories are served daily at 17h00. International cigars from all over the world are imported. Choose one from our specially designed cigar menu.

Crown Court Lounge
A sophisticated, airy lounge, beautifully appointed with a languid English Country atmosphere, complete with an open-hearth fireplace, through the winter months. The Crown Court Lounge boasts its own private bar, which is open from 16h00 to 22h00 each evening. Situated in the vicinity of the lounge is a secluded change room, complete with shower and adjoining bathroom. This is ideal for either very early arrivals, or very late departures.

The Pool Terrace
Two sparkling swimming pools surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. The terrace overlooks the main swimming pool, and offers a delectable light menu, which is available between 11h00 and 18h00. Our gardens create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, certainly "A lovely bit of country in the heart of Sandton."

Fitness Centre
The state-of-the art fitness centre, situated in the hotel, is furnished with all of the latest gym equipment. This will ensure that you keep up to date with your training programme whilst staying with us for either business or leisure. The fitness centre also has two private Mens and Ladies change and shower rooms, each boasting their own steam baths. Towels are supplied. 3. Take the MARLBORO DRIVE off ramp; turn left at traffic lights. Carry on along MARLBORO DRIVE, past Shell service stations and under bridge until you get to a T-Junction
4. Turn left at T-Junction into KATHERINE STREET
5. Go along KATHERINE until third set of traffic lights
6. Turn right into GRAYSTON DRIVE
7. Carry on along GRAYSTON until you get to intersection of GRAYSTON DRIVE AND RIVONIA ROAD

1. Take M1 highway to PRETORIA
2. Take GRAYSTON DRIVE off-ramp
3. Turn left at the traffic lights into GRAYSTON DRIVE
4. Carry on along GRAYSTON DRIVE until intersection of GRAYSTON DRIVE and RIVONIA ROAD; turn left into RIVONIA ROAD
5. At the second set of traffic lights turn right into MAUDE STREET, the Village Walk shopping centre is on your left hand side, and the entrance to the Parking
6. Travel for approximately 100m, the Protea Hotel Balalaika Sandton is on your left-hand side.

1. Take the M1 to JOHANNESBURG
2. Take the GRAYSTON off ramp
3. Turn right at the traffic lights into GRAYSTON DRIVE
