The Lobby Lounge is the newest addition that has been created on the ground floor of the chic, urban and edgy hotel, where Balvenie, Lagavulin, Glenmorangie, Laphroaig and Royal Salute will show the power brokers that you mean business as you put your latest deal to bed.

The Lobby Lounge, which has just opened, has a relaxed, modern Gentlemen’s Club feel, with deep leather bucket chairs, comfortable couches and small wooden tables, but with the Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! twist of very funky chandeliers, spots of wicked colour and a feature carpet that says you’ve arrived.

It is an intimate “third space” that is equally good for meetings or entertaining your coolest peeps and will primarily be a premium brands Whisky Lounge that also has a fine, exclusive wine list for those who prefer the fruits of the vine to malt.

Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Melrose Arch General Manager Gabrielle Abrahams said the Lobby Lounge was just one of the exciting changes that were being made at the hotel.
“We are launching new menus in the restaurant and we’ve tweaked our bar offerings to emphasise the dishes and drinks that our GUESTS love the most – and then adding a few more that we know will become firm favourites,” she said.
