HERMANUS - WESTERN CAPE
Welcome to the World's foremost, land based Whale Watching destination! Hermanus, once a sleepy fishing village, has grown into one of the most popular seaside resorts in the Western Cape.

Hermanus owes it's success to the beautiful natural scenery, moderate climate, it's close proximity to Cape Town (approximately 140km) and the vast range of outdoor activities available!

The Fernkloof Nature Reserve has up to 40 km of walks the mountains as a back drop, and boasts a vast amount of coastal fynbos and birdlife.  The endless stretches of coastline along the Kleinrivier Lagoon offers some of the best beaches the Western Cape has to offer. Horse riding is a favourite activity on the coast as well as trying out the well known Hermanus Golf Course.

A must-see when visiting Hermanus is the Old Harbour Complex. This offers visitors a look into the past where residents were mainly occupied in the fishing and marine life.
The Hermanus Wine Route, being the southern most in Africa, produces high quality wines that are world renowned!
Other attractions include restaurants, fine wine, fresh vegetables, cheese & fish. This makes the, once sleepy seaside, town an ideal holiday destination with all the modern features but never losing it's fishermans village appeal.
