The Protea Hotel Cape Castle, located just a stone’s throw from the world renowned V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, is undergoing a refurbishment. The revamp, which started last month, has been suspended for the summer holidays and will recommence early next year. It is anticipated to be completed by the end of February. The planned upgrade includes access control, room safes and new flat screen televisions. All soft furnishings – curtains carpets and upholstery – are being replaced and the public areas and restaurant will be given a fresh look. Protea Hotels Group Marketing and Advertising Manager Nicholas Barenblatt said the process would take place on a floor by floor basis so as not to inconvenience GUESTS. “Protea Hotels around the country are undergoing refurbishment and renovation, and we are pleased to see the Protea Hotel Cape Castle join them to make their GUEST experiences so much better. The Protea Hospitality Group strives at all times to give the best value to GUESTS in surroundings that exceed expectations at all levels.” The Protea Hotel Cape Castle's fully serviced apartment suites boast generous en-suite bedrooms, lounges, dining areas and fully-equipped kitchens. There is ample undercover parking at additional cost and 24-hour security. With unbelievably warm hospitality, inviting interiors and magnificent views of the Waterfront or Table Mountain, this lovely 3-star hotel in Cape Town is every traveller's home away from home. -end- |
