Cape Town’s Latest Fashion Icon is One of the Best

15 On Orange Hotel - Atrium

Cape Town, 4 August,2010: The African Pride 15 on Orange Hotel is one of only five finalists in the running for House and Leisure magazine’s 2010 Best of SA (hotel) awards. It is the only Cape Town hotel that made the cut.

The magazine’s awards celebrate the best hotel, spa, lodge and restaurant in the country as voted for by House and Leisure readers.

“We have narrowed down the search this year to the top five finalists in each category and now give readers the opportunity to vote for their favourite spot,” says Naomi Larkin, editor of House and Leisure magazine. “The finalists represent the best South Africa has to offer, from urban chic hotels and world-class spas and restaurants to luxurious country lodges.”

House and Leisure is the authority on “Stylish SA at home and play”. It is South Africa’s premium home-grown shelter title, showcasing the South African dream: stylish homes and people. Inspiring decor. Delicious and innovative food. Inspiring travel and leisure.

The Protea Hospitality Group’s director of Sales, Marketing and Revenue, Danny Bryer, said the nomination was a tremendous honour for a hotel that was less than a year old. “The staff has worked extremely hard to deliver service that exceeds guest expectations at every level and they have obviously succeeded. That, coupled with the fact that the hotel is a design masterpiece, means that we are very proud of it. It is one of the leading African Pride hotels and a model of what ultimate luxury should be. We’re hoping our guests and visitors agree, and vote 15 on Orange Hotel into the top spot.”

House and Leisure readers stand a chance to win amazing prizes in the House and Leisure/ Visa Best of SA Awards. By voting for the winning hotel, spa, lodge or restaurant, four lucky readers will each win a five-star trip for two to one of the winning establishments. For more information on how to vote, see the August issue of House and Leisure magazine.
