The Breakwater Lodge boasts 192 bedrooms ranging from business and family suites, with options to choose from single, twin and double en-suite rooms. All of the rooms are welcoming and comfortably furnished. Each is equipped with 22 inch LCD TV with satellite channels/radio and direct dial telephone and supplied with a welcome refreshment tray. Wireless hotspots are available throughout the building.

Other facilities at the hotel include the Time-Out Café, a la carte restaurant and the Stonebreakers self-service restaurant. A business centre operates during office hours and there is secure parking available. The hotel is able to offer first class conference and function facilities for up to 220 delegates at highly competitive rates.

Location

To reach the Breakwater Lodge from the Airport:
1.    Take the N2 from the Airport to town.  The N2 and N1 meet up at this point.
2.    Carry on straight over the traffic lights passed the Holiday Inn Hotel.
3.    At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Western Boulevard.
4.    Take the right hand lane that leads to a small set of robots leading into Portswood Road.
5.    Turn right into Portswood Road.
6.    The Breakwater Lodge entrance is the third entrance on one’s right hand side.

We have converted our 84 Share Shower Rooms into 42 Family Units. The Family Units will be sold in the following bed configurations:

1. Double Unit - 1 Double bed
2. Triple Unit - 1 Double bed in one room and 2 single beds in other room
3. Quad Unit - 2 Single beds in each room

The rooms are all comfortable, welcoming and attractively furnished as well as being equipped with 22 inch LCD Television sets with an 11 channel DSTV package, radio and a direct-dial telephone. If you need a little refreshment, a welcome tray with biscuits and the facility to make your own tea and coffee is supplied.
