Turn right out of Airport into Allister Miller Road – follow road right at Y-Junction into La Roche Drive.

From N2 take the Setlers Way Offramp.  Follow freeway to end at Walmer Boulevard Intersection.

Attractions

The Protea Hotel Marine P.E. is within walking distance of the City Centre, Opera House, Campanile, Fort Frederick and much of the city's Settler heritage. One of the major tourist attractions in Port Elizabeth, the Port Elizabeth Museum complex, is situated along Marine Drive on the beachfront at Humewood and comprises the museum, Oceanarium, Snake Park and Tropical House.

There are a number of guided tours available, including City Tours and various game reserves - Shamwari and Addo Elephant Park. For the more adventurous, there are a number of Eco-tours and superb diving spots in the Friendly City. Browsing around at one of the local shopping centres is a treat, as is a stroll through Art in the Park, which takes place on the first Sunday of each month. Alternatively, Beachfront Traders over a weekend is worth a visit.
